About me | Things I Aim To Do In My Life

About Me | Things I Aim To Do In My Life

Everyone has aims in life, were all human. So here's a few of my aims in life for the better that show a little about who I am as an individual.

A quote that means something to me,
'Sparkle' means to achieve and reach high in
life, with every attempt.
1) Write a book or two: I love to write, hence having two blogs and although I struggle to write whilst my life is so hectic, I still love it. I have no idea what I want to write about, although I am a crime-fighting-horror-tastic- murder-mystery genre lover. I love to read and I take English Literature and Language at A-Level because I love to write and read. So who knows....

2) Be an extra in a film one day: I love performing arts, and although I love it, it can be a hard thing to get into, and be successful with. There are multiple zombie films out, always coming back and who knows, a zombie spot may open up one day. Or even a spot as an extra in a music video. Either way, it would be a enjoyable experience. Plus, I love horror films.

3) Be tougher: To be tougher, I mean to not let the littlest of  things get to me. I am one to put myself down about the smallest of things, such as doing something bad in my driving lesson, messing up an essay in college that will gain me great marks or forgetting something important. I just think I'm a idiot or silly or useless,  anything that expresses my annoyance and upset with myself, even if others themselves think there's nothing wrong with these things.

4)Volunteer in something: I love to help people, I gain a happy feeling when I help people, such as when I assist customers at work. Maybe volunteer abroad, or in a historical event or building. Something that would provide great experience in my life :)

5) Don't let anxiety win: I am a very anxious person. I consider myself as very anxious as the smallest of things affect me, even if I don't present it to others. I will admit I am 75% better than ever before, because of going to two colleges within two years where I didn't originally know anyone, travelling on various methods of travel alone and being slowly and gradually more financially independent for myself as I get older, such as buying my own every day items and getting myself places alone; small things that I myself personally built on. But there will always be more to improve on, and I'm ok with that :)

6) Live healthier and so happier than ever before: I am happy and proud of myself to say that I made my diet better than ever before, and even influence people I know to eat healthy too, resulting in them coming up to me and saying " I really love the fruit and fibre cereals, who would have thought? I bet your influencing me to eat this way ha" Turns out, I had spoken of how I had to change my diet for the better so I could live like a normal person and be pain free from something most don't want to talk about because it a sensitive topic, especially in the what I see as the reserved British Society I live in. A healthier diet made me realise I felt more energetic instead of ill, slept better, my skin was healthier looking, and I didn't feel unhappy because of pain my stomach produced from eating an average diet that hardly included any extra and vital fibre and vitamins.

There a few of my life aims, some may be random, some bizarre, some may seem fairly simple, but I am one to aim to make my lifestyle more healthier in order to improve my lifestyle for the better.

About Me | My Favourite & Newly Discovered Musicians and Their Music

About Me | My Favourite & Newly Discovered Musicians and Their Music

Ever feel upset, challenged, angry, exhausted or annoyed and turned to music and it helped you through? Well same here. Music affects my mood in a way I never thought possible. A fast beat and rhythm makes me type and work like mad, helps me concentrate as if I'm working at the rate that the music is playing. So here are songs I love from artists I admire for their musical talent.
I just want to add, I am no music specialist, just expressing my personality and preferences in this post. They may be different from music others may prefer, or never heard of before by others, but this is just my personal choice of music and everyone has the right to their personal likes especially when concerning music as a aspect of our identity.

Foxes:
Foxes' music is something I love. I love the creativity in her music and the beat and rhythm. 'Holding On To Heaven', 'Youth', 'White Coats', 'Night Glo' from her album 'Glorious' (Deluxe) are some of my favourites, although I love all her songs from all her albums.

1975:
I love 1975's pop rock styled music they present in their music. They are a long time favourite of mine, and now I've their 1975 album from Christmas, I'll have a constant supply of their music wherever I go.  'Chocolate' is a favourite of mine from their album '1975' but yet again I love literally all their albums and songs.

Years & Years:
Another group I love, is Years & Years. These guys make some interesting music, and by interesting I mean music that seems to get my head just stuck in repeat playing their songs over and over again xD  'King' from their album 'King'. 'Foundation', 'Shine', '1977', 'Take Shelter' and 'Real' from their album 'Communion' (deluxe) are some of my favourites.

Ellie Goulding:
I adore Ellie Goulding's songs, especially from her new album 'Delirium' (deluxe) with 'Codes', 'Something In The Way You Move' and 'Always On My Mind', which I tend to listen to when working or when walking to work for 30 minutes, keep me from boredom with their increasing beats. Lights-the singe version- from her album Bright Lights is an old favourite of mine.

Lana Del Ray:
As I type this, I am currently listening to Lana Del Ray's music. I like the way her songs sound, with the different instruments she uses and interesting, in-depth verses which you can sit for hours and listen to. Some of my favourites are 'West Coast', 'Ultraviolence' and 'Sad Girl' from the album 'Ultraviolence'. 'Summer Time Sadness' the single featuring Lana Del Ray vs. Cedric Gervais. Following the above, her song 'Old Money' also from the album 'Ultraviolence', is a favourite, with its elegance in the lines and the sense of some kind of sadness that Lana Del Ray sings about.

Echosmith:
The band I discovered two summers ago after finishing my GCSE exams, are an old favourite of mine. This group are, to my awareness, appearing in shops where I live and even at my work becoming more obvious as I'm out and about ( being, of which working in retail) My favourites are 'Up To You' from 'Talking Dreams' their album, the Deluxe version, followed by 'Lets Love', 'Cool Kids', 'Brights, 'Tell Her You Love Her', 'Nothing's Wrong' and 'Ran Off In The Night', all from the same album (Talking Dreams-Deluxe version).

These are just a few of my chosen musical artists and their songs, and of course my music choice may be completely different to another individual, but it's here, shared with you, providing the chance to get to know a little bit more about me as the blogger of this website :)

Week Two Review | Can Hair Oils Create Healthy Hair Results?...

Week Two Review | Can Hair Oils Create Healthy Hair Results?..

The original image taken
before applying the first tube of
hair oil. My hair had just been brushed
and my fringe straightened in the morning
Previously I wrote ' Week 1 Review | Can Hair Oils Create Healthy Hair Results?... 'the first part to this post. It has been the end of the second week since I started applying hair oils to my hair to see if they really are a key thing for hair health. Sunday I will apply another tube, being the start of a third week of applying hair oils to my hair; this is what I have noticed.

So far, I believe that the hair oils have made a difference. My hair feels thicker, softer, and has gone a lot more curly like I naturally is, without the hair cuts-feathering-that thin it out. To add, it seems to have grown a lot more. I had come home from College on a Friday, five days after applying the second tube of hair oil, and brushed my hair. The comparison? I think- as this is my hair it's a lot easier to judge- that the oils had done their magic all through the week.

The VO5 Hair Oils that I have been and am still currently
using.
Now I definitely believe that there could be other factors to this and so would anyone else when testing out a product. Some may say such as the fact I " you sure you just need a hair cut" but here's this thing : my hair is never this thick and this wavy when needing a hair cut. Not at all. So when concerning the newly noticed thickness of my hair (which to add hasn't been this thick since I was 13,14 and 15 and afterwards ended as I got older) being influenced by the hair oils, I say yes, highly likely. I know my body better than someone else as I live in it every day, and I have certainly noticed a difference. To add, I have not changed my diet, I have the same types of foods that I always have due to my specific dietary requirements (due to my many intolerance's to certain types of foods), and same lifestyle as before starting the hair oil treatment.

This image was taken after letting my hair dry
naturally. It looks frizzy but that's because my hair
has a habit of doing this when it dries naturally.
Last Sunday, when applying the second tube of hair oil, I managed to spread the oil through my hair, right down to the roots, meaning the oil could get to all of my hair. In comparison to the first week of applying the hair oil, which again was on a Sunday, I didn't spread it far enough throughout my hair and left it just from roots to mid way down my hair. Working right through my fairly long hair works one hundred times better.

When you look at the first picture which was taken before applying the first tube of hair oil, my hair was not sprayed or styled, I had not put anything on it, I had just gone to work in the morning and came back in the afternoon and had taken that image after brushing my hair. In the second image, I have taken the image after showering and letting my hair dry. You'll see that it looks a bit frizzy but this is normal when I have had my hair dry, as it becomes a lot softer overnight when I wake up.

I can notice myself, as it is my hair that I live with everyday, that the oils have made a difference, but is it worth buying all these products or is there another alternative? I will keep a look out.
